Lamborghini President/CEO to hold Press Conference April 6

Westmont, Illinois – Stephan Winkelmann, president and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., will meet with the press at 5 p.m. Friday, April 6, prior to the Grand Opening of Lamborghini-Chicago’s new showroom and headquarters, 209 E. Ogden Avenue. The grand opening celebration will start at 6 p.m.
Mr. Winkelmann will discuss the current sales of Lamborghini in the United States, the success of global sales and the current car line.

Mr. Winkelmann was appointed president and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. in Sant’Agata Bolognese (Italy) on January 1, 2005.
Before assuming that post, he was chairman of the board of Fiat Automobil AG in Germany, a position he took in 2004. His career with Fiat also included senior positions in Austria and Switzerland. He began his career with Fiat in 1994 as area sales manager for the Alfa Romeo brand in Germany. Then, he became Fiat’s Head of Marketing, Southern Region and, from 1996, he held posts in Turin in Marketing and Sales management for Alfa Romeo, where he was responsible for the launch of the Alfa 156. He went on to become the Area Manager for several markets in Europe.
Stephan Winkelmann was born in Berlin on October, 18, 1964 and grew up in Rome. He studied Political Science in Rome and in Munich and started his career at a German finance company, after which he moved to Mercedes Benz.

Latest Fashions to Share Stage With Finest Cars and Music
At Lamborghini-Chicago Showroom Grand Opening
Westmont, Illinois (March 30, 2007) – Four fine Chicago-area clothing boutiques will be showing outfits in keeping with the glamour of one of the world’s fabled high-performance automobiles at the grand opening celebration of Lamborghini-Chicago’s new headquarters and showroom, located at 209 E. Ogden in Westmont. The celebration will begin at 6 p.m. Friday, April 6 with the fashion show beginning at 8 p.m.
The show will feature 2007-08 fashions. There will be couture coats in furs and fine fabrics for women and men from Hana K, with locations in Hinsdale, Lake Forest and Glencoe (www.hanak.com). Francis Heffernan, of Winnetka, (www.frannieonline.com) will show women’s styles ranging from the elegant to the hip and Hinsdale Clothiers the latest in men’s custom clothing. Razny Jewelry, of Addison and Highland Park (www.razny.com), will accessorize with the finest in fine jewelry.
Music Masters will provide music for the fashion show and Corey Sanford will be working with The Creative Group to make the runway presentation a must-see.
Also featured at Lamborghini-Chicago’s grand opening event will be fund-raising activities for Children’s Memorial hospital, including a silent auction for stays in Italy, electronics, fine jewelry and furs. Food will be provided by some of the area’s finest Italian restaurants.

Following the fashion show, Lamborghini-Italy President and CEO Stephan Winkelmann will cut the ribbon for the new building and discuss the mission of Lamborghini, its plans for the future and the new Lamborghini-Chicago showroom.
In addition to Lamborghinis, the new building will show high-end used cars, including Ferraris, Maseratis, Bentleys and Porsches. It features a 40-foot-tall black granite entry tower and a 30-foot-high glass front wall, the tallest segmented curtain wall glass building frontage in the Chicago area, according to contractor Kris Kelly. First floor showroom ceilings range in height from 20 to 35 feet, and a 7,000 square-foot mezzanine showroom sits on top of the dealership’s offices and service area. The showrooms feature slate floors and a range of tiles and textured finishes. The building also has a cafĂ© area serving cappuccino, and a boutique selling Lamborghini accessories.
It was designed by architect Paul Grimes of Michelson and Grimes, based in Cary, built by Kelcon Builders, of Westmont. The interior designer is Ideation Studios in Chicago. Lamborghini-Chicago’s old building in West Chicago will continue as a sales location for Lamborghinis and Lotus.

Western Theme Set for Thomas Johnston’s 60th Birthday Party
Lake Forest, Illinois (April 25, 2007) Some 150 people from across the United States are expected to celebrate the 60th birthday of Thomas Johnston, Chief Operating Officer and one of three partners in Health Care Insights LLC and President of Six Mile Capital Strategies, which he founded 10 years ago.
The May 19th birthday party, which will have a western theme, will be held in a tent at his family’s Lake Forest home. There will be horse-dawn hay rides, a mechanical bull and its cowboy operator, live band with lots of dancing, and a DJ or two from Music Masters Entertainment as the last hours wind up this special day. Guests are asked to wear western costumes to match the theme and will compete in contests of skill with prizes including a trip for 4 to the dude ranch at Gaynors’ Ranch in Whitefish, Montana, where there are numerous trails and guided trail rides, mountain biking, whitewater kayaking, rafting, fly fishing, and much more.
Six Mile is a private investment firm based in Lake Forest. Healthcare Insights, founded in 2000, provides financial solutions and services to companies in the healthcare industry. Johnston’s career in investment banking of more than 25 years, included work with large, New York based securities firms and seven years as President and CEO of ABN AMRO Incorporated.
Johnston, who is retiring from the Lake Forest Building Review Board after a term-limited six years, is a member of The Chicago Club, the Economic Club of Chicago, Conway Farms Golf Club in Lake Forest, Illinois, and The Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana, where he maintains a second residence. He served on the board of Urban Gateways, a not-for-profit organization that supports children’s education, particularly in the arts and has been active on the board of the Aptakisic District of the Boy Scouts of America; he and his son Andrew are both Eagle Scouts.
Raised on a farm in Momence, Illinois, which is still operated by his family, Johnston is a CPA with an MBA from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University.
Those attending the party will be Thomas and Mary Grace’s four children: Andrew, Ashleigh, Elizabeth and Christopher, plus extended family and friends.
